Zelda "JoAnn" (Deal) Gandee

JoAnn Gandee, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered eternal rest on January 16, 2025, at the age of 85. Born to the late Vern D. and Grace A. (Powers) Deal on July 13, 1939, in Marion, Ohio, she lived a vibrant life grounded in love and faith. A long-time resident of Mount Gilead, Ohio, JoAnn touched many hearts with her warm spirit and compassionate nature.

JoAnn dedicated her career to accounting, serving at Peco and O.C.L.C. She was a devoted member of the Church of Christ, where her faith played an integral role in her life. In her free time, JoAnn enjoyed bowling and country dancing with her husband.

On June 29, 1956, married Jerry M. Gandee Sr., he survives in Mount Gilead.

In addition to her husband, JoAnn is survived by her son, Jerry (Lisa) Gandee II; her daughter, Cindy Gandee; five cherished grandchildren; and nine adored great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire her family and friends for generations to come.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by a brother, David Deal.
