Wilma Sharlene (Easterling) Ogle

Wilma S. Ogle, age 96 of Cardington passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Liberty Nursing Home in Mansfield, Ohio. She was born on August 23, 1925, in Vinton County to Harry E. and Eva E. (Cope) Easterling who preceded her in death.

Wilma had worked for the Homemaker Service. She enjoyed quilting for people who were sick. She loved going dancing, playing the piano, and going to Seniors on Center for music. Wilma loved football, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals. She was a longtime member of Richland Road Church of Christ in Marion.

On October 2, 1945, Wilma married Ivan Neil Ogle in Vinton County, he preceded her in death on February 14, 2001.

Left to cherish Wilma's memory is her children Leisa Moghaddam of Nashville, TN., and Brian Ogle of Las Vegas, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and her sister Hazel Ghearing of N.C.

In addition to her parents and her husband Ivan, Wilma was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Butsko.

Friends may call on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. A graveside service will take place Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Hopewell Cemetery in Magnetic Springs.
