William “Billy” Graham, age 72, of Waldo was called home at his residence on Saturday June 29, 2024. He was born June 8, 1952, to the late Dean and Margaret (Allen) Graham.
Bill was a 1970 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School and then served as an MP in the U.S. Army. He then worked at Whirlpool for 43 years before his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Cardington.
To Bill his family was everything. His family will cherish their countless Sunday dinners, family vacations, and boating days where he always managed to have everyone rolling in laughter with his endless stories and jokes. He was a patriarch to his family and even though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and through the many life lessons he taught them and memories he made with them. His good nature, thoughtfulness, and orneriness was evident his whole life.
On May 28, 1977, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bill married Pamela Waddell and she survives. Additional survivors include his children; Tiffany (Jason) Potter of Waldo, Jenny (Curtis) Babb of Waldo, and Ryan (Cassie Roseberry) Graham of Marion; 10 grandchildren: Cody, Austin, Jessica, Thomas, Adison, Avrian, Paxton, Alina, Cooper, and Alyssa; great-grandchild, Roninn; sister, Sue Mermann of Mount Gilead.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Margaret Graham and brother, Michael D. Graham.
Friends may call on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 336 West Main Street in Cardington from 11:00 AM until the start of the funeral service at 1:00PM. Pastor Steve Dennis will officiate, and full military honors will be observed.
