William "Bill" L. Hickman, age 72 of Fulton passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at Marion General Hospital. He was born on February 22, 1953, to the late Frank D. and Eva M. (Longacre) Hickman.
Bill was a 1971 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. He had worked as a draftsman for many years and later worked for the OSU Extension Office working on spider identification.
Bill was a skilled craftsman. He spent much of his time in his machine shop, where he meticulously created figurines that showcased his talent and creativity. Bill found joy in the simple pleasure, playing euchre with his family, enjoying music, and loved being outdoors.
Bill is survived by his two brothers, Jonathan (Kim) Hickman of Perry, GA, and Dan (Judith) Hickman of Coats, NC, and his sister Sally Ott of Sahuarita, Az; as well as his sisters-in-law Nancy Greenwood and Terri Hickman, brother-in-law Steve Lane; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth and Michael Hickman and his sister Catherine Lane.
