William A. Vaughn, age 71 of Columbus passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Doctors West. He was born on November 6, 1953, in Ashland, Ohio to the late Linlay J. and Marilyn S. (Miller) Vaughn.
William was a 1973 graduate of Loudonville High School. He received his BA in Sociology and his BS in Psychology from the University of Texas Permian Basin. William was a talented artist, leaving a legacy of expression and imagination that will be cherished for years to come.
William's compassion led him to love and care for many different animals over the years. In his free time he enjoyed watching horror and Sci-Fi movies. William was a big influence on his nephews and helped and encouraged them to get into their professional careers, in electronics.
William is survived by his sons: Geoff (Tiffany) Vaughn of Farmington, NM., and Jeremy Vaughn of Cheektowaga, NY., six grandchildren, his siblings: Diana Blough of Marion, Terri Heeter of Longmont, CO., and David Vaughn of Cresent City, CA.
