William Lee Heacock

William Lee Heacock, of Cardington, OH, passed away on March 1st, 2022,
at the TimberRidge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Ocala, FL.

William ( Bill ) was born on September 6th, 1941, to the late Raymond O. & Louise Heacock in Lincoln Twp., OH. Bill graduated from Cardington High School in 1960, and was a Fullback on the Championship Football Team. He was dedicated to his family, and to the family farm; helping his parents carry on the work they started in the mid- 1900's. Bill's life work was carpentry. He enjoyed working with his hands, creating beautiful woodworkings, cabinets, and remodels of local homes and churches.

Upon his retirement he moved to Ocala, FL to reside with family and enjoy warmer weather. While there, he continued to work his carpentry trade. He was very active in the local church. He was a lifelong avid Ohio State Football Fan.
Bill will be remembered for his dedication for helping others, and serving God.

Bill is survived by his nephew, David (Kim) Thomas; niece, Denise Howard; nephew, Evan W. Thomas; great niece and nephew, Sarah L. (Nick) Reed and Timothy D. Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Janenne R. Heacock-Thomas.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 22nd, at 2 PM, alongside the gravesite in Glendale Cemetery, Cardington, OH. All friends & family are welcome to attend.

Dignity Cremation has taken place by Baldwin Brother's Funeral & Cremation Services, Ocala, FL.

Local ceremony will be directed by Gompf Funeral Services, Cardington, OH.
