Walter Vincent Ruble

Walter V. Ruble, beloved husband, father, and uncle, age 83 of Cardington passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at his residence. He was born on June 17, 1941, in Canton to the late Thomas M. and Julie C. (Ball) Ruble.

Walter graduated from Timken Vocational in 1960. He had worked for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades as a Union Drywall Finisher.

Walter belonged to Tuscarawas Valley Touring Club and served as the President for six years. He was heavily involved with the club until they disbanded.

On June 11, 1960, Walter married Joan (Rogers) in Canton, Ohio, she survives in Cardington.

In addition to his wife, Walter is survived by his son Todd Ruble, his daughter Cherelyn (Robert) Bolt, special nieces Tina Ruble, Tammie Ruble-Thomas, and Julie Prevenslik as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his brothers Byron and Thomas Ruble.

A graveside service for Walter will take place on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM in Glendale Union Cemetery, 105 Glendale Street, Cardington, Ohio 43315.
