Virginia Arlene (Fairchild) Webb

Virginia A. Webb, age 94 of Cardington passed away, March 16, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born on April 27, 1927, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Dallas Fairchild and Charlotte (Blanton) Fairchild-Ratcliff.

Virginia was a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish Virginia's memory are her children: Sandy (Brett) Naylor of Cardington, Ricky (Midge) Webb of St. Louisville, and Randell (Linda) Webb of Marshalltown IA.; brothers: Ed Ratcliff of St. Paris, and Art (Ewela) Ratcliff of Tipp City; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband (married 1949) John Evert Webb, her son Johny Wayne Webb; father Dallas Fairchild, mother Charlotte (Blanton) Fairchild-Ratcliff, her stepfather Arthur Ratcliff; six brothers Dallas Fairchild, Robert Fairchild, Richard Fairchild, Jack Fairchild, Roger Fairchild, Jim Ratcliff; five sisters LaThanna Fairchild, Beatrice Fairchild Free, Monnie Roseann Fairchild, Joyce Fairchild Burden and Erma Ratcliff Munn.

Friends may call on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00 PM. A graveside service will take place on Monday March 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Fairview Memorial Park, 5079 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, Ohio.
