Timothy "Tim" Deskins

Timothy 'Tim" Deskins, age 76 of Mount Gilead passed away July 20, 2023, at his home. He was born on October 4, 1946, in Road Branch, West Virginia to the late John W. and Iness O. (Honaker) Deskins.

Tim did landscaping and excavating and was the owner of Deskins Nursery. He loved to work with flowers and selling pumpkins and mums in the fall. He enjoyed watching westerns and was an avid hunter when he was younger. Tim always had a smile on his face when he greeted you. In his later years he like to quote scriptures and talk to people about the Bible.

Tim is survived by his children: Timothy Deskins of Delaware, and Sarah (John) Robson of Mount Gilead; five grandchildren; his siblings Barbara Smith of KY, George (Joyce) Deskins of Plain City, James White of Marengo, his half-sister Teresa Gillespie of Washington; he is also survived by the mother of his children Barbara Deskins and his companion Judy Wolford.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his son Bryon Deskins, his daughter Tonya Deskins, two grandchildren Jeremiah Deskins and Ashton Robson, as well as two siblings John Deskins Jr and Carolyn Rinehart.
