Timothy Dale Compton

Timothy D. Compton, age 56 of Mount Gilead passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Morrow County Hospital. He was born on November 1, 1965, in Columbus to Arthur R. and Dorothy A. (Fiore) Compton who preceded him in death.

Timothy was a 1984 graduate of Marion Franklin High School. After graduating Timothy had worked most of his life in construction.

Timothy enjoyed fishing, woodworking, working on cars and 4-wheelers and mowing the grass. He spent a lot of his time at the ballfields coaching his grandchildren.

On May 25, 1985, he married Lisa Marie (Hensley) in Columbus, she survives in Mount Gilead.

In addition to his wife Lisa, Timothy is survived by his children Craig Compton of Mount Gilead and Kristy Compton of Mount Gilead, three grandchildren: Savannah, Douglas and C.J.; and his siblings Loretta, Debbie, Russell, Danny, Rick, Kathy, and Mary.

Friends may call on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington with the funeral service directly following at 5:30 pm.
