Tammy L. Thacker, age 53 of Cardington, died on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Dublin Methodist Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 28, 1966 in Marion to the late Maxine (Osborne) Ricketts.
Tammy was a 1984 graduate of Marion Harding High School. She worked for PPG in Delaware for many years as a Machine Operator.
In her spare time, you would find Tammy in the yard tending to her Sunflower’s or Hummingbird feeders, she was a Hummingbird fanatic. Everyone who met Tammy absolutely loved her and was considered to be everyone’s “Grandma”, many people referred to her as Aunt TT. She also enjoyed traveling to Nelsonville with her husband Jeff to camp and fish.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Jeff Powers of Cardington; two children: Stephanie (Asch Tilley) Thacker of Morral and Joe Thacker of Oakhill, WV; two grandchildren: Bryor and Lydia; special family, Anna & Alexander Fliger; two siblings: Monica (Robert) Thomas of Marion and Jeff (Stacey) Mcquerrey of Galion and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 2:30 PM at the Fulton Cemetery. We ask that anyone attending the Graveside Service please abide to the “Social Distancing” parameters set by CDC.
