Stuart Douglas Lorimer

Stuart D. Lorimer, age 64 of Lemon Grove California, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025. He was born January 13, 1961, in Mt. Gilead, OH to Jim Lorimer and Valerie E. (Chalfant) Holtz.

Stuart was a 1979 graduate from Cumberland County High School in Crossville, TN. After serving in the Navy, he worked in the Ship Building Industry where he continued to build and maintain Naval ships through various roles including welder and supervisor.

Stuart enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and was a member of Solo. Angeles Motorcycle Club. He was also an avid San Diego Padres and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

On April 21, 2007, Stuart married Maria in Crossville, TN, she survives in Lemon Grove, California.

In addition to his wife, Stuart is survived by his mother Valerie Holtz, of Dover, children: Nick (Katie) Lorimer of Orlando, FL., Judith (Javier) Durazo of Lemon Grove, Ca, Ana Silva of El Cajon, CA, siblings: Jill (Jay) Vaughan of Sherrodsville, Sonja Snyder of Sarasota, FL, Sean (Nancy) Lorimer and Niki (Darren) Vaught both of Cardington, and 6 grandchildren.

Stuart was preceded in death by his father Jim Lorimer, stepmother Libby Lorimer, stepfather Jack Holtz Sr., two brothers Randy Lorimer and Jack Holtz Jr. and his sister Dannie Jane Phillips.

A graveside service for Stuart will take place on December 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM in Glendale Union Cemetery with celebrant LeAnne Gompf officiating.
