Stanley "Stan" L. Cochran, age 70 of Cardington passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 30, 1955, in Delaware to the late Birgis and Hazel (Bingham) Cochran.
Stan was 1974 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. After graduation he joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. He later went on to work for Gary Porteus as a carpenter for several years.
In his free time, Stan loved the thrill of riding his Harley motorcycle, casting a line at Lake Erie, and spending time with his friends. He found joy in the simple things, like the companionship of his loyal dog, Abby, who was always by his side. Whether on the open road, by the water, or just relaxing with good company, Stan cherished those moments of peace and adventure.
Stan is survived by his siblings Nick (Kathi) Cochran of Cardington, Rita (James) Mullins of Castle Hayne, NC, Danny (Vickie) Cochran of Winnie Wodd, Ok, Evvona Cochran of Castle Hayne, North Carolina, and Ed (Deanna) Cochran of Mt. Airy, NC.
In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his son Jason Roark.
