Stanley R. Wolf, age 69, of Chesterville, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Morrow Manor. He was born on April 24, 1957, to the late Harry A. Wolfe Sr. and Joanna L. (Wells). Stanley was raised by Harry A. and Beverly J. (Corbin) Wolfe Sr.
Stanley was a 1975 graduate from Central High School in Columbus, which was formerly located where COSI now stands. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy until receiving an honorable discharge. After his military service, Stanley worked as a paramedic before joining Mars Inc., where he continued serving as a paramedic while also assisting in the production of company products.
In his free time, Stanley enjoyed fishing, taxidermy, and spending time tinkering on projects in his shop. He was a man of many interests and talents who enjoyed working with his hands. More than anything, Stanley found joy in helping others and was always ready to assist a friend or neighbor in need.
Stanley is survived by his children, Matthew, Michael, and Monica Wolfe; his siblings, Randy, Chery, Skeeter, Harry Jr., Randi, Elmer, and Teresa; and several grandchildren.
Gompf Funeral Service of Cardington is honored to have been chosen to assist the Wolf family with Stanley's final wishes. Condolences may be expressed to his family at www.gompffh.com.
