Ruth G. Kramm, age 88 of Cardington, formerly of Beaver, PA, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 2, 1937, in Shenandoah, PA to the late William G. and Grace E. (Beaver) Goodridge.
Ruth was a graduate of Shenandoah High School. She graduated from the School of Nursing of Geisinger Memorial Hospital in 1958 and kept her license active into her 80's. She had worked for Geisinger Memorial Hospital in Danville, PA, and Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital in Darby, PA.
Ruth was a devoted lover of all cats, finding comfort and companionship in their gentle presence. An avid reader, she could often be found lost in the pages of a good book and her Bible, always eager to learn or be carried away by a story. She also enjoyed birdwatching, taking delight in the beauty and wonder of nature, and spent many peaceful hours working on puzzles and cryptograms, appreciating both the challenge and the calm they brought her. Ruth took great pride in her Welsh heritage. Ruth cherished simple comforts of sewing, singing and enjoying a hot cup of tea.
On August 27, 1960, Ruth married Roger Kramm in McEwensville, PA. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2023.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Leslie (Tom) Twigg of Cardington and daughter in law Andrea Prokop, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her son Brian Kramm and her brother William Goodridge.
