Ruth Ann Daniels

Ruth Ann Daniels, age 81 of Cardington died Friday, August 13, 2021, at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 10, 1940, to James C. Rardon and Winnifred (Rings) Rardon who preceded her in death.

After graduating from Willis High School in Delaware, Ohio. Ruth became a secretary for 3M National Advertising, where she retired with over 30 years of service.

On November 30, 1962, Ruth married Alva "Ben" Daniels in Delaware, Ohio, who preceded her in death on May 13, 2019. Ruth and Ben spent 57 wonderful years of marriage doing everything together, riding the Harley, camping, vacationing, and going to NASCAR races.

Ruth played Euchre in her own competitive way. She also enjoyed Dirty Marbles. Ruth loved her family very much and always enjoyed spending time with them.

Ruth is survived by her daughters Peggy (Joe) Bronson of Columbus and Bonnie (Jeff Sherrick) Cooper of Orient; Four grandchildren: Randy Grooms, C. Benjamin Cooper, Trevor Cooper and Jamie Grooms, numerous great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by and her sister Jennie Cain of Cardington. Jennie became her giggle buddie and partner in crime. The two were thick as thieves. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her older sister Linda Rea.

The family will hold a private family burial in the Glendale Union Cemetery.
