Roy William Gibson Jr.

Roy W. Gibson Jr., age 40, passed away Saturday, May 31,2025. He was born on August 23, 1984, in Columbus to the late Roy W. and Kandy S. (Breidenbach) Gibson Sr.

Early on, Roy loved working with electronics and computers. Taking things apart just to see how they worked was second nature to him, especially when it came to computers. Now working as a computer technician, he spends his days solving technical issues, upgrading systems, and customizing machines to run better than ever. What started as a hobby of modifying old PCs turned into a career where his passion meets purpose every day.

Gaming has always been a big part of Roy's life, a way to escape, challenge himself, and connect with others. Music was always playing in the background, especially rock & roll and heavy metal, fueling his focus and energy. There's something about the raw power of heavy guitar riffs and pounding drums that perfectly matches the intensity of a great game. It's more than a hobby-it's a lifestyle that keeps him inspired and wired in.

Roy is survived by his four children: Alexis, Adrena, Callie, and Xander; as well as a sister, Shelly (Grady) Devers. As well as numerous friends and extended family.
