Ronnald Redman Obituary

Ronnald "Ronnie" Redman, age 73, of Cardington passed away at Bennington Glen with his family by his side. He had waged a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
Ronnie was born May 26, 1951, in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Harold E. and JoAnn I. (Hildenbrand) Redman.

Ronnie was a 1970 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School where he participated in
football, basketball, baseball, and track. He served and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy. Ronnie had worked at Tecumseh, Rockwell International, and retired from International Paper after 29 ½ years of service.

An avid car enthusiast, Ronnie was a 40 plus year member of the Rod-N-Tiques Car Club. He was a huge fan of Cardington-Lincoln High School football and Ohio State football.

On February 7, 1975, Ronnie married Patricia Stelzried in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and she survives in Cardington. Additional survivors include two sons; Chris (Chrissy) Redman of Cardington and Chad (Sarah) Redman of Richwood; grandchildren, Chessa, Channing, Justin, and KylieAnn Redman; sisters, Sandy (Larry) Wigton of Cardington, and Becky (Dan) Newell of Upper Sandusky, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his sister Patsy Swan.

A celebration of life for Ronnie will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 2-4pm at Cardington Community Methodist Church, 300 S. Marion St. Cardington, Ohio 43315. The family asks that you come as you are and share some stories.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions in Ronnie's name be made to the Cardington-Lincoln Athletic Department, 349 Chesterville Avenue, Cardington, Ohio 43315.
