Roger Ray Gullett

Roger R. Gullett, age 73 of Galion died on Saturday, August 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 17, 1953, in Willard to the late Robert F. and Billie J. (Grimmer) McKee.

Roger had attended Shelby High School. He was the proud owner and operator of Gullett Installation, a telecommunications company that he built through hard work, integrity, and dedication to quality service. Throughout his career, he earned the respect of customers and colleagues alike for his expertise and dependable work ethic. He took great pride in the business he established and the lasting relationships he developed while serving his community

Roger had a lifelong passion for classic cars and hot rods, owning many throughout his life. He took great pride in his vehicles and enjoyed working on them, attending car shows, and sharing his love of classic automobiles with family and friends. Roger enjoyed watching UFC fights and was an avid fan of the sport. He also had a special fondness for animals, especially his ferrets, and owned several over the years.

Roger cherished time spent with his family, especially making memories with his grandsons. He also had a love for camping and enjoyed every opportunity to relax outdoors with those he loved most.

On October 31, 1986, in Vanceburg, KY Roger married Teri R. Shirley who preceded him in death on November 23, 2013.

Left to cherish Roger's memory are his two children: Natilie (Charles) Miller of Lexington and Nathan Gullett of Galion; two siblings: Robin (Dan) Roberts of Mansfield and Kelly McKee of Galion; two grandsons: Dalton & Bryer Miller; significant other, Rhonda Montey; as well as numerous extended family members.

In addition to his parents and wife, Roger was preceded in death by a brother, Kyle McKee.

A private family service will take place in the Glendale Union Cemetery.
