Robin Sparks Meenach, 56, left this earth too soon on November 8, 2021. She was born
on August 23,1965 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio and graduated from MGHS in 1983. While attending school, she was president of the art club, a star pitcher on the varsity softball team, and a member of the marching band.
After graduation, Robin attended the Ohio State School of Cosmetology in Columbus,
Ohio where she graduated with honors and a Manager's License. She managed several
different Saturday's salons in Columbus and, for a period of time, operated her own shop in Mt. Gilead. For the last several years, Robin worked as a home health aide for the special needs community in Delaware and Franklin Counties. She loved her work and had a great relationship with her clients and colleagues.
Robin was a devoted grandmother and the creative one in the family. In her spare time,
she liked to draw and karaoke and especially loved sharing Christmas and gifts with the people she loved. Her gardening abilities were exceptional, and she always had a beautiful display of spring and summer flowers.
Robin is survived by her two children, daughter Chelsy (Robby) Sherman and son Chase Sherman of Cardington, Ohio, and grandchildren Eternity and Essence Catterson of Rushsylvania, Ohio. Her mother, Janis E. Sharp of Safety Harbor, Florida, and sisters Susie (Fred) Valentine of Columbus, Ohio Crystal Sharp of Post Falls, Idaho and Jannel Sharp of Newark, Ohio. Two stepchildren Leslie (Ryan) Smart and Luke Meenach, half-brothers Jason and Steve Sparks, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Robin will be sadly missed by her family and a celebration of her life will be announced
at a later date.
