Robert "Bob" L. Clark, age 74 of Marengo passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at his home. He was born on February 20, 1950, to the late Earl E. Clark and Janice J. (Young) Clark-High
Bob retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) after 30 years of service.
He was honorably discharged from the United States Army and was a member of the Marengo American Legion Post 710. Bob was a member of the Morrow County Draft Association. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, and mushroom hunting.
On June 21, 1991, Bob married the former Terri Stover, and she survives in Marengo.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his children, Shane (Amy) Clark of Mt. Gilead, Amy Marie Hutchinson of Mt. Gilead, Robby (Sunny) Timmons of Fredericktown, and Kayla (Jesse) Ward of Marengo; grandchildren, Cailyn (Jacob) Meimer, Preston Clark, Peyton Clark, Tayler Ward, Braylen Ward, Patience Ward, Rileigh Ward, Shelby Ward, Macie Ward, Landon Timmons and Xavier Timmons; siblings: Richard "Dick" (Pat) Clark of Cardington, Albert "Bud" High of Cardington, Rebecca Thomas of Cardington, Roger (Sue) Clark of Washington, Brian (Joan) Clark of New Jersey, and Brenda (David) Anweiler of Indiana.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Myron L. Clark; brothers, Steve High and Doug Clark; sisters-in-law, Donna and Bev High and a brother-in-law, Mike Thomas.
Friends may call on Wednesday January 8th, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 PM with Chaplain Jeff Slider officiating.
