Robert Harold Kennedy

Robert H. Kennedy, beloved brother, father, and grandfather, age 91 of Cardington passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 10, 1932, to the late Harold and Marcina Kennedy.

Robert joined the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He later worked as a Tool Liaison/ Machinist and as the Senior Engineer with Tecumseh Products.

Robert was an avid fisherman. He loved bird watching, camping and photography as well as singing and playing the guitar.

Left to cherish Robert's memory are his two daughters: Margaret (Andrew) Carrigan of Cardington, and Jacqueline Kennedy of Eaton, his sister Kathy (Richard) Hack of Cardington, four grandchildren: Ian Sparks, Robert Coleman, Laura Carpenter and James Carrigan; thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son Robert Kennedy, his brother Donald Kennedy, his two sisters Linda Buchanan and Audrey Anspach.

A graveside service for Robert will be held at Pleasant Cemetery with full military honors on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM with Pastor John Carpenter officiating.
