Robert A. Coyan

Robert Coyan, age 64 of Mount Gilead, died Sunday, September 19, 2021, at the Kobacker House. He was born on March 22, 1957, to Robert Coyan who survives in Mount Gilead and Sally (Oliver) Friend who preceded him in death.

Robert was the co-owner of Coyan Concrete. Robert spent the last 10 years clearing property and building his house in Candlewood. He enjoyed cars and going to car shows, fishing and he was a fan of the Cleveland Browns.

Robert is survived by his children: Tony (Samantha) Coyan of Waldo, Vicki (Tamim) Parsa of Hilliard, Joshua Coyan of Sunbury, and Hannah Coyan of Sunbury and seven grandchildren, his siblings, Ken Coyan, Pam Massie, Steve Coyan, Edward Cormier, and Jeff Cormier.

The funeral service will be Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 2:00pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. Following the service, the burial will take place in Marengo Cemetery. Following the burial in Marengo, Roberts family will hold a gathering in his honor at the Waldo Fire Station, 306 W. Marion Street, Waldo, Ohio 43356 at 5:00 pm. Anyone is invited to come and share in food and fellowship in Robert's memory.
