Ceschin Reno Angelo Ceschin, of Marengo, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 22, 2022, after a prolonged illness. He was born March 12, 1925, to the late Phillip and Mary Ceschin of Columbus, Ohio.
Reno graduated from Linden McKinley High School. He attended Mount Gilead Glory Baptist Church in Mount Gilead, Ohio. He is a long-time member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church where he taught Sunday School most of his adult life. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked as a cement mason and used his skills on many projects in the Columbus, Ohio area. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, and was always willing to lend a helping hand on any project. Reno was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Reno is survived by two daughters, Nancy E. (Frank) Turner of Marengo, Ohio, and Mollea K. (Jesse) Frank of Columbus, Ohio. Reno has three grandchildren, D. Joshua (Rachel) Bell with children, Noah, Sophia, and Isaac; Rachel (Christopher) Edgel with children, Olive, Edie, Everett, and Owen; and J. Caleb (Erica) Bell with children, Jonah and Micah. Special mention of our family friend, Pam (Keith) West, who has been friends with the family all his life.
A celebration service will be held at Glory Baptist Church, 600 N. Main Street, Mt. Gilead, Ohio, by Pastor Jeff Deel on July 23, 2022, at 2 PM. Visitation with friends and family will be one hour before the service.
