Patricia E. Ebert, age 92 of Cardington, died on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Bennington Glenn Nursing Home. She was born on December 10, 1932, in Fulton to the late Chester R. and Myrtle M. (Weaver) Pearl.
Pat was a 1950 graduate of Cardington High School and dedicated her career to the Marion County Board of Elections as a clerk for over 20 years. Where she served her community with pride and dedication.
A devoted member of the St. John Lutheran Church Windfall, Pat found joy and connection within her church family. She was also an active participant in the Piecemakers Quilting Group, where she shared her talents and passion for crafting with others, creating beautiful pieces that brought warmth and comfort to many. Pat was also known for her seamstress abilities, making and altering countless gowns over the years.
Pat treasured her family above all, her greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her beloved children: son Jerry (Janet) Ebert of Cardington, daughter Pam (Victor) Fleming of Mt. Gilead, son Dean (Carolyn) Ebert of Mt. Gilead, son Dale (Jenny) Ebert of Little Rock, SC, and daughter Marsha (Jay) White of Cardington. She is also survived by her cherished sister JoAnn Krock of Galion as well as 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Pat's unwavering love and support will forever be a source of strength for her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard and Ivan Pearl and two sisters, Darlene Heimlich and Janice Curts.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the St. John's Lutheran Windfall Church at 11:00 am with Pastor Adam Sornchai officiating. Following the service, the burial will take place in the Windfall Cemetery.
