Obituary

Pamela G. Dettra, age 65, died Monday Aug. 31, 2020 in the Ohio Living Sarah Moore home in Delaware. She was born on Jan. 23, 1955 in Mt. Gilead to Doyle R. and Dorthea M. (Fitzpatrick) Rogers.

Pam was a 1973 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln School and also the Mansfield Malabar Nursing School in 1975. She enjoyed baking, sewing, arts and crafts, and candy making. Pam was a member of Sacred Hearts Church and was a past president of the Marion J.C’s. She loved her pugs but lived her life for her daughters and her grandchildren.

Pam is survived by her daughters; Danielle (Bryan) Wagner of Twinsburg and Charlene ( Dale ) Shuler of Sunbury; five grandchildren, Barry, Nicholas, and Nathan Wagner and Adalynn and Amelia Shuler; her father, Doyle Rogers of Mt. Gilead; and siblings, Roger Rogers of Columbus, Ronald Rogers of Richwood, Allen Rogers of Powell, and Teresa King of Massillon; and six nieces.

Pam was preceded in death by her mother Dorthea Rogers.

Friends may call on Wednesday Sept. 2, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00PM at the Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center St. in Cardington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Sacred Hearts Church. Pam’s burial will follow in the Glendale Cemetery.
