Norman Alfred Miller

Norman A. Miller, age 75 of Cardington died on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on January 2, 1947, in Marion to the late Alfred L. and Emma L. (Beltz) Miller.

Norm was a 1965 graduate of Highland High School and then served in the U.S. Army. He had worked as a welder at H.P.M. and was a driver for the Morrow County Veterans Office. He was a lifelong farmer, and most would consider him a "workaholic". Norm was currently serving as a Harmony Township Trustee. He was a member of the Morrow Bible Church. In his spare time, Norm enjoyed hunting and playing solitaire on the computer.

On June 29, 1968, in Cardington, Norman married Susan M. (Pierce) and she survives in Cardington. Also surviving are Norman's daughters, Tonia Hoffman of Cardington, and Tammy Hinkle of Mt. Gilead; grandchildren, Erik Yake and April Hoffman; brothers, Ken Miller and Bob (Judy) Miller both of Florida and John (Deb) Miller of North Carolina.

Friends may call on Tuesday March 22, 2022, from 4:00 until 7:00PM at the Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. Norman's funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00AM at the Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Howard officiating. Full Military Honors will be observed, and the burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
