Nicole L. Hiett, age 51 of Cardington passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, at her home. She was born on June 10, 1972, in Columbus to the late Janice Axe.
Nicole was a graduate of Highland High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Bradford University. Nicole had worked as a rural mail carrier, school bus driver and aid at Cardington-Lincoln Schools, and as well as A1 Concrete Leveling.
Nicole was a member of the Fresh Faith Community Church. She loved crafts, cooking, baking, and traveling. She enjoyed football and her favorite team was the Bengals. Nicole loved watching cooking shows with her son. She was best known for giving hope to those who didn't have it. Most important to Nicole was her family, she loved spending time with them.
On July 27, 1997, Nicole married Wesley Hiett, he survives in Cardington.
In addition to her husband Wes, Nicole is survived by her children Cody Hiett of Delaware and Savannah Hiett of Cardington, her sister Heather Langat of Cardington; her nieces and nephews: Jordan Robinson, DJ Harper, Sedasia Harper, Saraya Harper, Shakara (Mikayla Conrade) Sanders, Niya (Trystan Kanter) Sanders and daughter KaNijah Kanter, Jamie Evans, William Evans, and Danielle Kern; and her sisters-in-law Annie Blackman, Susie Hiett, and Robin Hiett.
Nicole was preceded in death by her mother Janice Axe.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the funeral home at 12:00 PM.
