Nathan C. Riggs, age 41 of Mansfield passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021. He was born on June 18, 1980, to Stanley Riggs and Janice (Mosher) Banfield who survives.
Nathan was a man of God first foremost, and everyone knew it. He was a very Christian devoted man, where family came first. He always made sure we prayed and told us he loved us. He was a loving and caring father to Ibri, Izayah and Jesse. He was a special man; you wouldn't meet another like him. He owned his own business, Nate's Painting. Nathan would give you the shirt off his back and had a great eye for detail and was an excellent painter.
Nathan woke up every morning without fail to study his bible and listen to his Christian music faithfully, the day didn't begin until he had studied. Nathan loved politics and fishing. He had excellent penmanship and was fantastic artist when he would draw. Nathan was a contractor, and he could pretty much build anything. He had been fixing up his family's house and had most recently built on a deck. Nathan was kind, giving, loving, and generous and didn't know a stranger. He was one of a kind.
In addition to his parents, Stanley (Toni) Riggs of Kansas, and Janice (Carl) Banfield of Mansfield, Nathan is survived by his fiancé Heidi Dutt, his children: Izayah Riggs, Ibri Riggs, and Jesse Higgins II, his siblings Ryan (Ric Dzula) Riggs of St. Pete Florida, Andrea (Scott Cox) Riggs of Mount Gilead, Jason (Laura Milton) Riggs of Iowa, Nick Riggs of Kansas City, Temple Riggs of Kansas, and Skylar Riggs of Kansas, his nephew's Landon and Luke and his niece Ella Mae.
