Naomi N. (Carroll) Qualls-Henderson, age 90 of Galion passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 11, 1934, in Olive Hill, Kentucky to the late Clansby G. and Opal I. (Ingles) Carroll
Naomi had worked as a supervisor for Trans Co Oil Company in Texas and later as a cook at Purple Sage School. In her free time she loved to read. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Naomi is survived by her children: Clifford Qualls of TX., Rhonda (Kevin) Conrad of Iberia, Kathy (Owen) Reeves of TX., and Charles (Cinde) Qualls of Galion; nine grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren; as well as her siblings: Barabra Duncan of TX. , Phyllis (Joe) Cooper of Ontario, Gary Ingles of Mansfield, Judy and (Bob) of North Carolina, Georgia of TX., Bonnie (Darryle) Cash of TX., and Peggy Hadley of TX.
In addition to her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by first husband Herman Qualls on August 28, 1992, her second husband Herbert Henderson on November 25, 2009; her son James Qualls, as well as her sisters Helen Brown and Marilyn McDaniel and her brother Gary Carroll.
Friends may call on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington, with the funeral service directly following at 11:00 AM. Following the service, the burial will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery, 2540 Noble Road West, Shiloh, Ohio 44878.
