Monty Ray Rose

Monty R. Rose, age 52 of Cardington passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at his home. He was born on April 7, 1970, to Monty F. Rose and Michelle L. (Owens) Davidson.

Monty was a 1988 graduate of Marlington High School. He was a carpenter and had worked with his stepdad J.D. for many years.

Monty loved race cars and his cat "Chick". He enjoyed fishing and working on bicycles; he could take two old bikes and make them into a new bike.

In addition to his mother and stepfather Michelle (J.D.) Davidson of Cardington, Monty is survived by his children: Cody (Taylor) Rose of New Albany, Tristian Rose of Alliance, and Joanna Rose of Marion, his grandson Ezreal Rose, his siblings: Jason (Tina) Rose of Cardington, Ryan (Stephanie) Rose of Cardington and Brooke Davidson of Columbus, as well as his maternal grandma Vivian Owens.

Monty was preceded in death by his father Monty Rose, his son Ashton Tyler, and his grandpa Ray Owens.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Glendale Union Cemetery in Cardington, Ohio.
