Martha Massey Obituary

Martha Massey, age 72, of Marengo died early Thursday morning at Knox County Hospital. She was born April 19, 1947 to the late Marvin and Montez (Wilbanks) Davis, in Sylvania, Alabama. She married Jessie James Massey in Sarasota, Florida and he preceded her in death.

Martha thoroughly enjoyed music, worked as a cook for Colonial Manor in Fulton and was a member of the Galion Moose Lodge 303.

Martha is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James (Jo Ann) Massey of Alabama, grandchildren, Matthew Wayne Massey and Tina Keith, both of Alabama; and sister Christine McGinnis of Marengo. In addition to her parents and husband, brother, Paul Holland and sister, Evelyn Ritchey preceded her in death.

Per Martha’s wishes, she will travel back to Alabama with her son to be buried with her Mother.
