Lousie Mathews Henry was born to Omer and Beulah Mathews on September 27, 1938, Louise was born in London, Ohio
Lousie attended Elm Valley High School where she met the love of her life Robert Henry.
Louise and Bob were married when Louise graduated from high school. Louise and Bob resided in Ashley all of their married life.
Louise and Bob were blessed with three daughters. Lousie loved being a wife and mother and later a grandmother. She loved attending her children and grandchildren's various activities. She delighted in having her family get togethers.
Louise was over a 60-year member of Ashley Methodist Church, where she was active over the years in various church groups.
Always liked Girl Scouts and was a scout leader when her daughters were young. She liked cooking and sewing and made clothes for her daughters and herself. She enjoyed boating and waterskiing. Her greats joys were her husband, God, and children and grandchildren.
Louise will be greatly missed by her husband, Robert Henry, daughters Pam (Joe) D'Angelo, Sheryl McCarthy, and Teresa Gottron, as well as nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Her sisters Donna Shaw, Sandy Bonham, Judy (Jerry) Gibson, Carol Holdren, brother Jim (Becky) Lloyd and many other family members.
Preceded in death by mother, dad, stepmother, and stepsisters. Brother Lee, foster parents Wayne and Garnelle Lloyd.
Friends may call on Friday December 8, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ashley Community Church, 214 East High Street, Ashley, Ohio 43003. The funeral service will directly follow at 12:00 PM with Reverend George Lee officiating. Following the service, the burial will take place in Ashley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks to consider a memorial donation to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC., 28201.
