Lois Ann (Keen) Lewis

Lois A. Lewis, age 78 of Mount Gilead, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at the Morrow Manor Nursing Home. She was born on December 10, 1941 in Galion, Ohio to the late William “Bill” and Ruby Leona (Barrett) Keen.

Lois was a 1960 graduate of Marengo High School and had went on to work as an office manager for 17 years at Conleys. She attended the Pulaskiville Baptist Church. Lois enjoyed landscaping, planting flowers (especially rose bushes), and rocks.

On September 9, 1961 in Vanceburg, Kentucky Lois married Francis “Marion” Lewis and he survives in Mount Gilead.

In addition to her husband, Lois is survived by 2 children: David (Tracy) Lewis of Aberdeen, Maryland and Bethanne Lewis of Mt. Gilead; 1 grandson, Dylan Lewis and a sister, Wilma Zornes of Mt. Gilead.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Barnes.

A private funeral service will be held for the family. A public Graveside Service will be held in Bryn Zion Cemetery on Saturday May 2, 2020 at 10;45 AM with Reverend Martin Spearman officiating. We ask that anyone attending the Graveside Service please abide to the “Social Distancing” parameters set by CDC.
