Linda Elaine (Richey) Drake

Linda E. Drake, age 77 of Mount Gilead, a beloved mother and grandmother passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Legacy Bucyrus. She was born on March 29, 1947, in Marion to the late Joseph C. and Ella L. (Handlin) Richey.

Linda started working at Kroger and then later went on to work for Prestige as a carrier. At one time, Linda enjoyed crocheting but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, they meant the world to her.

On November 20, 1965, Linda married William L. Drake in Cardington, he preceded her in death on March 4, 2004.

Left to cherish Linda's memory is her two sons: William (Angie) Drake, Robert (Steffany) Drake; her four grandchildren: William, Brandon, Brittney, and Kaylee; her five great-grandchildren: Kodiak, Talon, Liam, Brilee, and Carter, as well as her aunt Betty Sheppard.

A graveside service for Linda will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Marengo Cemetery.
