Linda Kay Dittoe, a beloved member of the Cardington community, peacefully passed away on July 7, 2024, at the Marion General Hospital. Linda was born on May 6, 1956, in Lancaster, Ohio, to her loving parents, Paul and Bessie Dittoe.
Linda, who enjoyed spending time at Whetstone Industries, found joy in life's simple pleasures. She cherished basking in the warmth of the sun, savoring a cold pop and indulging in spicy foods. Music played a significant role in her life, and she found solace in taking leisurely car rides.
Despite facing personal challenges, Linda's kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of those around her. Her love for the simple things in life and her caring nature will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her family and close friends at the Walnut Street home, including her partner in crime, Audrey and friends and family at Whetstone Industries.
Although Linda is no longer physically present, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Linda's life will take place at the Glendale Union Cemetery at a later date.
Gompf Funeral Service of Cardington is honored to have been chosen to assist the Dittoe family with Linda's final wishes and condolences may be expressed at www.gompffh.com.
