Lewis Swint Sr. Obituary

Lewis Clifford Swint Sr, age 93 of Fredericktown died Monday, June 14, 2021, at Woodside Village surrounded by loved ones.  He was born on October 16, 1927, to Clifford Swint and Sara (Wilburn) Swint who preceded him in death.

Lewis worked at Epro and Ross Brothers, where he had laid block.

Lewis, in his free time enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing, and collecting guns.

In January of 1967 Lewis married Joyce Bolton, who on November 2, 2017, preceded him in death.

Lewis is survived by his children, Nancy (Dennis) Brocklesby of Mount Gilead, David Swint of Marengo, Frances (Mark) Graham of Mount Vernon, and Lewis Swint Jr. of Utica: sisters, Rosie Morrison of Buckeye Lake and Dorothy (Dan) Wildermuth of Marion: brothers, Sam (Jane) Swint of North Carolina, Chuck (Sandy) Swint of Michigan, Kenny (Gloria) Swint of Gahanna and care takers, sister-in-law Barbara (Bill) Grubaugh of Fredericktown, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Lewis was preceded in death by his brothers Otis, Bob, Carl, Cecil and Walter Swint, sisters Ruth Gant and Hazel Armstrong.

A graveside service for Lewis will take place on July 1, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the Marengo Cemetery.
