Leonard "Len" Gail Robinson

Leonard G." Len" Robinson, age 72, of Cardington, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at Morrow County Hospital. He was born on April 29, 1950, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Jasper F. and Edith (Martin) Robinson.

Len was a graduate of Canoga Park High School, Class of 1968. He then graduated in 1972 from New Mexico State University Engineering School. After graduation, Len worked as an Engineering Manager for Halliburton Industry on an offshore drilling rig and later for BIF. In 1989 he moved his family to PA to work for General Signal Corporation, and in 1997 they moved to Chagrin Falls. Wanting to be near family, Len ventured out and moved his family to Cardington, Ohio, in 1999. He took a position with AEP, from which he retired in 2019. Len was the Cardington Township Zoning Inspector for the last 15 years and a member of the Regional Planning Commission.

Len was a gentle giant, a loving husband, a devoted father, and a friend to everyone he met, and he willingly shared the fruits of his hobbies with family and friends. He especially enjoyed gardening, cooking, and winemaking. He was also an avid HAM radio enthusiast.

On May 2, 1987, Len married Adrienne (Parraco), who survives in Cardington.

Len is also survived by his children, James "Mack" (Jasmin Perez) Robinson, daughter Caitlin (Jeff) Radovan, his sister-in-law Bonnie and nephew Kyle.

In addition to his parents, Len was preceded in death by his brother, James Robinson.

A celebration of life for Len will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street, Cardington.
