Lee O. Gibson Jr., age 65, formerly of Cardington, died Monday, January 20, 2020 at his sons’ home. He was born on February 17, 1954 in Marion to Lee and Edna Gibson Sr.

Lee was a 1972 graduate of Cardington Lincoln High School and went on to work numerous jobs in a factory.

Lee’s favorite thing to do was playing the guitar, and he also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Lee read a lot of books.

On May 2, 1985 in Cardington, Lee married Bonita E. (Cowles) and she preceded him in death on September 10, 2019.

Lee is survived by his 3 sons: Johnny Baer of Cardington, Jeremy (Jessica Patterson) Baer and Lee (Kassalee) Gibson both of Marion; 6 grandchildren; brother, Dan Street, and two sisters, Renea Gibson and Barb Street.

In addition to his wife and parents, Lee was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Gibson-Baer and 3 brothers.
