With humble acceptance of God's will, we announce the passing of Larry D. Faust, on June 9, 2024, at Woodside Village Care Center in Mount Gilead. He was born on March 16, 1934, in Cardington, to the late Cyrus J. and Iona (Houk) Faust.
Larry was a 1953 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. He was a self-employed contractor and started his own business, Faust Construction.
In his free time Larry loved painting pictures, gardening and reading his Bible. Larry was a member of the Westfield Community Church.
On December 18, 1983, Larry married Ruby "Lee" (Elkins) in Columbus, she survives in Mount Gilead.
In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his daughters, Monica (Dave) McAtee of Mount Gilead and Tracy (Jerry) Holmes of Sebring, FL., three grandchildren: Michael (Billie) Ewing, Cody (Bri) Quick and Jesse (Allie Welch) Quick; as well as his sister Valerie Walters of Aguilar, CO.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother Gary Faust and his sister Zanoni Weaver.
