Landon Andrew Hanahan

Landon A. Hanahan, age 18 of Mount Gilead died Friday morning, May 7, 2021 unexpectedly. He was born on October 19, 2002 in Columbus to Jason and Andrea (Cramer) Hanahan of Mount Gilead.

Landon was a Senior at Mount Gilead High School where he had been on the honor and merit rolls and would have graduated this month with the Class of 2021. During his time in high school, he was involved with many extracurricular activities, but baseball and basketball were two of his favorites.

Landon was an old soul and was such a caring, compassionate, and giving young man. He enjoyed spending his time with friends playing videos games and listening to music. Landon also enjoyed fishing and was looking forward to nicer weather to get back out to the water to fish. He enjoyed watching sports games with his father, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Landon also enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia with his dad and they had quite the collection of items. Above all else though, Landon just enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and nothing else made him happier than those memories shared.


In addition to his parents Jason and Andrea, Landon is survived by his paternal grandparents: Elizabeth (Don) Carr and Jerry (Kathy) Hanahan; maternal grandparents: Tom (Bev) Cramer; Aunt, Denise (Mike) Schultz and Uncle, T.J. Cramer; 2 cousins, Bryce and Sydney Thompson; great-grandmother, Patti Ray and numerous extended family members who loved him very much.

Friends may call on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Gilead Friends Church, 4863 US Highway 42, Mount Gilead, Ohio 43338 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A celebration of Landon's life will take place immediately following the visitation at 5:00 PM with Pastor Kyle Kershner and Dr. Alan Carr officiating.
