Kenneth Gerald Beveridge Jr.

Kenneth G. Beveridge Jr., age 87 of Cardington died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Community Care and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born on December 23, 1930 to the late Kenneth Sr. and Margaret (Dye) Beveridge. 

Kenneth served his Country Honorably in the United States Navy. He would work for the Sycon Corporation for 42 years.  Kenneth was a member of the Moose Lodge 889, Amvets Post 87, VFW Post 8054, and American Legion Jenkins Vaugh Post 97. He enjoyed farming, square dancing, riding his 4-wheeler, and tinkering on things. When he was able, Kenneth attended St. John Lutheran Church Windfall.

On June 4, 1955, Kenneth married Dixie Lee (Jaycox) in Marion, Dixie proceeded Kenneth in death.

Kenneth is survived by five children; Kim (Terri) Beveridge of Zanesville, Kelly (Deb) Beveridge of Cardington, Scott (Michelle) Beveridge of Columbus, Tracy (Viki) Beveridge of Waldo, and Dee Beveridge of Georgia; two siblings, Margaret Bachelder and Lynn Beveridge both of Marion; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Kenneth was preceded in death by two sisters; Barb Nicholls and Patricia Sheldon.

Friends may call on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 11:30am to 1:30 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington.  The funeral service will be held immediately following at 1:30 pm. Following the service, burial will take place in the Glendale Cemetery.
