Kathy Ann (Wells) Haycook

Kathy A. Haycook, age 64 of Mount Gilead passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Marion General Hospital. She was born on July 10, 1958, in Elyria, Ohio to Raymond E. Wells and Mary E. (Meltzer) Wells-Slone.

Kathy was a 1976 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. She was a self-employed house cleaner.

Kathy loved gardening and enjoyed spending time outside in her yard. She loved to clean and was considered a neat freak. Kathy cherished spending time with her grandchildren and their friends, she loved taking care of everyone and people would refer to her as Nana-Kat.

Kathy is survived by her mother Mary Wells-Slone, her daughter Ronda (Chris) Anderson of Mount Gilead, her grandchildren: Korben, Asher, and Rosalyn; and her siblings Raymond (Amy) Wells of Marengo, Connie (Amir) Shahabadi of Elyria, Elaine Dupler of Idaho, and Brian Teal of Oregon.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father Raymond Wells.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday July 27, 2022, at 10:00 AM in Glendale Union Cemetery, Cardington, Ohio.
