Katherine Annette (Davis) Ray

Katherine A. Ray, age 64 of Centerburg, died on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Saint Ann's Hospital in Westerville. She was born on June 18, 1957, in Northfolk, VA to the late Fred N. and Sandra L. (McNeil) Davis.

Katherine had worked as a sales representative for Select Optical for many years and really enjoyed her job.

On September 6, 2014, Katherine married Ronald L. Ray and he survives in Centerburg.

Katherine loved watching movies and going to Nature Parks. She always enjoyed going to the Zoo and loved all animals, except snakes. Katherine's greatest joy in life though was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish Katherine's memories are her husband, Ronald Ray of Centerburg; 3 children: JJ Bell, Kendra Ray and Randy Ray all of Centerburg; three siblings: Kimberly (Kim) Finley, Ricardo Davis and Kenny Davis; three grandchildren: Amalia and Robert Bell and Greyson Ray; as well as many extended family members: aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Kurtz.

Friends may call on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center St. Cardington, Ohio 43315. A Celebration of Life will begin at the conclusion of visitation at 6:00 PM.
