Joseph Dean Ohler

Joseph D. Ohler, age 41 of Cardington, died Monday, January 11, 2021 in Athens, Ohio. He was born on February 27, 1979 in Marion to Philip D. and Belinda “Sue” (Cook) Ohler.

Joey was a 1997 graduate of Cardington Lincoln High School and had went on to attend Hocking College. He had worked several years in the tree service industry.

Joey loved sports, especially football and baseball. He also inherited his dad’s passion of the outdoors and enjoyed being in the open air, he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Joey was such a beautiful soul and was loved by everyone he met. His demeanor and smile always lit up the room and never came across someone who he didn’t become friends with.

In addition to his mother, Sue Ohler, Joey is survived by 2 siblings: Amy Thompson of New Plymouth and Matthew Ohler of Cardington; several aunts, uncles’ cousins and extended family.

Joey was preceded in death by his father Philip Ohler.

The family will observe a private burial in the Glendale Union Cemetery.
