Johnny Keith Kilgore was a humble man who believed in the Lord. The good Lord took him home on November 7, 2021. With his faith in the Lord, John survived a 37-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis, and he died peacefully at his home with his daughters, Amanda, and Andrea, at his side.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father Don Kilgore, mother Cherry Dean Sparks Kilgore Cook, sister Teresa Habibi, brother-in-law Phil Ohler and nephew Joe Ohler.
Johnny is survived by four sisters, Sue Ohler, Janet (Kenny) Keene, Sandra (Don) Henry and Jodi Fidler, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his four children, Johnny Edwin Kilgore, Jenny Marie Kilgore, Amanda Mae-Althea Kilgore, and Andrea Nichole Kilgore Robinson. John loved all of his children and always was thinking about them. He may have been bed ridden for many years but always had words of wisdom to share when he had the opportunity to be with any member of his family. "Papa" was also survived by those grandchildren, Kylee Beth Robinson, Zoie Michelle Arthur, Izik Scott-Andrew Robinson, Zane Carter-Keith Kilgore, Averee Ann Robinson, Mathew Kilgore, Megan Kilgore, Bailey Kilgore, and Colin Kilgore. Johnny will be missed by his family and friends, but everyone knows he is in a much better place.
