John Kelly Keplar

John K. Keplar, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, age 83 of Cardington passed away Monday June 10, 2024. He was born on December 13, 1940, in Logan, WV., to the late Carl D. and Elizabeth M. (Curtis) Keplar.

John worked as an inspector for Columbus Auto Parts for 22 years. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially loved to go to Lake Erie and fish.

On January 1, 1992, John married Shirley Mae (Carpenter) in Cardington, she survives in Cardington.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children: John (Karen) Keplar of Cardington, Wes Keplar of Mount Gilead, Dennis Armstrong of Cambridge and Michelle (Steven) Kawinski of Raleigh, NC., three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister Ethel Fain and his brother Carl Keplar.
