John Collier fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on December 22, 2022. He is survived by his children Amber (Ben) Boice, Joel Collier, Daniel (Kaitlyn) Collier, grandchildren Hannah and Henry Boice and his former spouse and forever friend Vanessa Collier.
He is also survived by his stepmother Shirley Collier, brother Kenny (Kris) Collier, sisters Susan (Lonnie) Lawhorn, Christie (Scott) Clabaugh, Kelley Collier Ward, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Ervin "Buck" Collier and Mary Evans; also, by his youngest brother Russel Brunton.
John was a veteran of the United States Navy. John was a faithful volunteer at many churches, charities, and community services.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Worthington Seventh Day Adventist Church, 385 E Granville Rd, Worthington, OH 43085 from 4:00 PM to 7:00PM. Final services will be on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Worthington Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiated by his life-long friend Pastor Mike Stevenson.
