Joanne Kristy Long

Joanne Kristy Long, age 53 of Cardington passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born on January 31, 1973, to Andrew Charles Long III and Dianne (Barrs) Chapman.

Joanne had worked as a secretary for a Personal Injury Law Firm. Joanne loved thrift shopping, especially at Goodwill, she was always looking for bargains. Haevyn, her granddaughter was her world. She loved putting Haevyn in beauty pageants and teaching her how to find the bargains. Joanne had a heart for animals and rescued many different animals over the years.

On April 28, 1997, Joanne married Matthew Dale McKibben, he survives in Cardington.

In addition to her mother, Dianne Chapman and stepmother, Betty Sue Long both of Florida, Joanne is survived by her husband Matthew Dale McKibben of Cardington, her children: Trevor Stephen McKibben of Delaware, and Tyler Leland McKibben of Cardington; granddaughter Haevyn Ivy McKibben as well as her siblings; Charles William Long, Nena Aaron Guzzi, and Shawn Anthony Long all of Florida.

Joanne was preceded in death by her father Andew Charles Long III.

Services for Joanne will be held at a later date.
