JoAnn (Patten) Jones

JoAnn Jones, age 76 of Mount Gilead, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at The Meadows of Marion. She was born on February 28, 1950, in Mount Vernon to the late Francis A. and Pauline M. (Phelps) Patten.

JoAnn was a 1968 graduate of Cardington Lincoln High School. She had worked as a press operator for Core Systems in Mount Gilead.

JoAnn found joy in reading, sewing, and putting together puzzles. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, creating lasting memories through laughter, love, and togetherness.

JoAnn is survived by two children: James (Heidi) Jones of Marion and Mandy Krinn of Edison; two grandchildren Hailey Krinn and Hayden (Alithea) Krinn and her sister Judy Lucas of Marion.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her siblings: Phyllis Patten, Donald Patten and Betty Tucker.

Friends may call on Thursday April 2, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington with the funeral service directly following at 6:00 PM with Pastor Chris Umphreys officiating.
